Staving Off Climate Change and Biodiversity Loss

LWVTPC turns from the national scene to Pierce County. What “home remedies” can we apply to our natural environment to help assuage the ills of climate change?

Guest speakers will emphasize hope and offer local actions that can help restore abundance to damaged Pierce County ecosystems and reduce the effects of climate change. Speakers for the Tacoma unit meeting are:

[] Pierce County Office of Resilience and Climate Action (ORCA)
Nicole Avendano and Becca Book (Long Range Planning)
[] Climate Pierce County, Dr. Elly Claus-McGahan
